I know a lot of ladies have inductions scheduled. I'm 36 weeks right now and I want to talk to my Dr about setting up a date to be induced. I want it to be as close to my due date as possible but I want a certain Dr to be the one delivering my baby. She saved my life after I spent 4 days bleeding out from an ectopic pregnancy last year cuz I thought it was a period. I had 2 liters of blood in my abdomen and I would have been dead by nightfall if I hadn't gone to the hospital when I did. I have been having intense BH contractions and I've lost a little bit of my mucus plug. 3 appointments ago I requested to be checked and they said my cervix was closed. I have an appointment in 2 days where they will be swabbing down there so I'm going to ask them to check me again. Is 36+3 too early to be asking the Dr about setting a date for induction? Are there certain things that need to happen before they schedule it like do I have to be dialated or anything? How many weeks were you ladies when your induction was scheduled? Please keep in mind I want the date to be close to my due date. No rude comments about wanting to be induced please.
