No. I think jt encourages a medical culture. Pharmaceutical companies take advantage. I don't believe drugs need to he advertised. We should have better Healthcare so people can see a doctor if they have a problem.

Advertising the condition yes but not the medication. It's banded in Australia hardly no medication is allowed to be advertised for patients safety

Yes because people need to be informed of their medication options. My care was left up to doctors who "werent familiar with" or were "uncomfortable" trying a new medication.... The old stuff didn't work well for me and put me at a much higher risk for blood clots, I nearly died twice... I found a new doctor who was willing to do a little research on an advertised drug and give it a try, it works so much better for me! Every patient is different, no doctor should get to dictate your care because they are too lazy to stay up to date with new medications. Patients have to be able to advocate for themselves and that means having access to info about available medications.

That's a double edged sword, because prescription drugs companies are not forthcoming always and they are 9x out of 10 are out for money and want to use ppl as guinea pigs. If they do show ads, which they do it's best ppl do more research on the actual drug itself.

I think so because that way more people are able to hear about them. Someone has, for example, erectile dysfunction, and they see a commercial about it, then they can ask their doctor about the medication on the ad 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it's helpful
