I'm 38+1 week pregnant (FTM in the UK)
My 38 week appointment was meant to be this Thursday (20th April) but it's been pushed back until next Tuesday (25th April) my baby is due on 30th April.
I've seen a couple of posts about how the rate of stillbirth can increase after 40 weeks and it's starting to get a bit scary. I'm thinking of discussing induction with my midwife at my appointment on the 25th as I'll then be 39+2 days pregnant.
What are the pros and cons of being induced before 40 weeks and would I even be able to be induced before 40 weeks?
