My LO isn't allowed at my friends wedding

My good friend is getting married this fall. She isn't having kids at the wedding. LO will be 9 months at the time. I ebf and LO only takes 1 bottle a day (but always wants the boob for comfort within an hour after). The wedding is 2 hrs away, so with driving to and from, plus the ceremony and reception I would be gone at least 8 hours. I want to be there to support my friend, but I don't think it's possible with breastfeeding. I don't think my friend will understand because she doesn't have kids and doesn't know how time consuming and demanding breast feeding is. I know it's a few months away, but my friend wants to know if I'll be at her wedding now. Any advice?
