How does your LO fall asleep at night?

I'm wondering because for us is 99% the breast even if he's been fed 10min before... We've tried many things but we are not willing to do the cry it out strategy. Any advice would be helpful, thank you! ☺️

Honestly, I would be overjoyed if my LO fell asleep breastfeeding. I have to bounce on an exercise ball until her eyes are closed then latch her and roll the ball back and forth until she's done then bounce her again. I sometimes have to bounce for an hour before she falls asleep at night. If the breast works then use it!

My son used to only fall asleep breastfeeding (he's always had a bottle at night, but I'd have to breastfeed after he'd finished the bottle) but now he's given a bottle, burped, read a book then put in his cot.  One of us lies next to him and we'll put a hand on his chest and shhh a bit and he'll go off to sleep.  I couldn't do cry it out either, but we did a couple of nights of pick up put down to get him used to falling asleep in the cot and not on the breast.  He has occasional nights when he fights sleep and cries at bedtime - we'll comfort him in the cot or if he's really upset pick him up and settle him but keep putting him down until he falls asleep in the cot.  I caved one night and let him feed to settle because he was really upset, then the next few days bedtime was really difficult.  Now I stick to the no breast rule and although some nights aren't perfect, overall it's much easier.

Mine gets sleepy after a bottle, and I lay her down and half the time she falls asleep, the other half I give her a paci and she falls asleep. On the rare occasion I have to bounce her to sleep...

Normally she's tired from daycare and falls asleep on mommy or daddy soon after a bottle. Pacifier is used if she is restless

We do a few books, a few lullabies, then I rock her until she is drowsy then put her in the crib drowsy but awake.  Lately, she is not wanting to snuggle as much and would rather spread our in her crib than be rocked and snuggled 😓 which is bittersweet

My son's started to fight going to sleep so after his bath and evening bottle I usually have to rock/bounce and shush him with his soother in his mouth. 😣

Thank God he's not dependent on the boob to sleep........ I put him in the crib with his mobile and white noise. That's it.

Multiple: awake and on her own, with the aid of a binky and white noise.  I consider that on her "own" because im not needed to soothe her. We put her in her crib and out we go.

I went from feeding to rocking to then going to sleep in cot. Think the rocking stage helped with the transition as she was still close to me. And then I could slowly phase out the intensity of the rocking. I still sit in the room with her and sing her a song I used to sing when I was rocking her. And eventually  (usually half an hour) she'll drift off.
