period being weird ?

I'm having cramps and bloating and I was spotting a couple of days ago with cramps . For the past two days I've been bleeding very light, but only see blood when I put a tampon in. I haven't had sex in over three weeks but I am due to have my period right now . Could this be my period ? I'm confused . I was scared that it was implantation bleeding but I have tiny blood clots and you don't get that with implantation bleeding . I also maybe thought I was just stressed so that's why my body was acting like this . I was majorly depressed a couple of days ago. Can someone help ?? Idk what to do ... I don't have any pregnancy symptoms either .
