Okay so my boyfriend who I'm sure will someday be my husband, is joining the army. He is super excited and proud because they are willing to help him finish his PhD upon his return from training and all that, but I feel sad to be away from each other for long periods of time. I haven't seen him in a week but we spoke on the phone 3 times briefly, he's not much of a talker on the phone and he doesn't use social media like Snapchat or Instagram anything like that. I do think it would be super romantic to write letters though and keep them like the olden days. How do the rest of you ladies cope with your men's deployment?
