How much would you pay/charge per oz for milk?

I have someone who is willing to to buy my oversupply of breast milk. I had signed up to donate it, but honestly Im not working because i stay with my twins. I just don't know what kind of price to put on something like that. Google search said that some people pay $4-$5 an oz but that seems like a lot

Im having a really hard time. But i think she would be insulted if she wasn't able to give something for it. Idk maybe i will just ask her to cover the cost of the bags.

Do you have a lot of milk or special dietary needs that she requires? It's odd she's not just going to Human Milk 4 Human Babies or Eats on Feets. Unless your milk is like super special I would find free milk if I was the person in need.

$4-5 an oz is what milk banks charge and they go through testing and pasteurization. For just some random person charging, that would be a lot.

I figured i will do .50 an ounce. That gives her a good deal and covers the cost of the bags, prenatal vitamins, other supplements i take and the dry ice i need to transport it to her.

I was curious and visited a site that had women selling their breast milk and if I remember correctly, healthy women with great diets were selling it for like $2.00 an ounce.  But if it is someone you are related to that is fostering a baby, why not donate it to her?

I don't think I could charge that much 😟 I'd probably say like $50 for a certain amount like 100oz or something. A week of formula is only $30 or so right? I don't think I could charge too much more than that.

I would maybe just make it comparable to formula...if she would spend 30-40 per week (that's what I spend), then paying that for real milk would give you a little money, and won't break the bank for her compared to her other options. And only charge that much if you are able to fully supply the baby for the whole week...
