my IUD experience/help

zt
Today I went in to get my mirena IUD inserted. I was pretty excited yet a little nervous. Took 3 naproxen and headed to the doctor.
The procedure started and she inserted the tool to open my cervix once, then twice, then theee times... nothing. By that point I was sweating profusely, covering my mouth to not scream. She then quit and said that she is not able to get it in at this time and that I will need to come back at a later time after taking Cytotec.
At this point I am really discourage. I am 28 years old and nulliparous.
AND to top it off, my blood pressure dropped as soon as I got up and I almost fainted. Apparently I had a vagal response. Felt like a wuss.
Have any of you experienced this with your insertion? If so, did cytotec actually help? Did it help with the pain? I mean, should I even go through with it and keep suffering when it is possible that she might not even be able to get it in? How do babies get out of vaginas by the way? Lol
Thanks. Any comments are appreciated.
Signed, a very discouraged human being.
