How to cope with being one & done?
Before my husband and I got married, we both wanted one child. Our daughter recently turned one and I can't shake this yearning for another. My pregnancy wasn't the best (HG), & our daughter is quite demanding as it is. However so much of me wants to experience pregnancy again. To bring another little human into the world. To nurture & love a new little baby. When I tiptoed around the subject he very point blankly said 'no'. He doesn't think it'd be a good idea since our daughter now requires so much. I don't feel I'm in the place to even argue my defense on wanting another child since I did say from the beginning, just one. Is there anything I can do to get over this? It's really hard to truly say how many children you want, until you've had them it seems 😞
