Taking medication while TTC

Hey everyone! My husband is currently taking an antidepressant. I have done a lot of research and found that SSRIs have a horrible effect on sperm count, motility, and morphology. He asked his doctor about it a couple of months ago and the doctor said that he would put him on a different class of medication that doesn't have the same effect if his blood pressure is under control at his appointment next month. I'm just worried the doctor is going to not want to switch medications yet for one reason or another. Regardless, we are still TTC. Has anyone had a similar experience where your husband is on a medication for anxiety/depression but you were still able to successfully conceive? Thanks!
