11 weeks and gushing blood

So I went to my doc appointment today and I've been cramping all day, while waiting for the doctor I started gushing blood, it was running down my legs, I called the doctor and she put me in ultrasound. And baby had a 163 heart beat, and was moving its arms and legs around. They said I had a tear in my uterus. I have to go back in a week. They said to go to hospital if I soak 2 pads in 1 hr. I am still bleeding. But I only go through one pad a hour. I'm scared. The doctor said I can hemorrhage and bleed out. And I'm scared of losing the baby. Has anyone had this happened?
