Baby Shower Favor Opinions?

We have about 30 people coming and I originally wanted to do seed packets in pots, but my mom thinks that's stupid as a lot of the people coming live in condos and in general she just doesn't like them. Then she wanted to do candles. One thing we both agreed on is succulents. My question is do you find it tacky to receive artificial succulents as favors? They would be wrapped in cute burlap or something. She's already doing a bunch of gift baskets so I prefer she doesn't spend too too much on favors and the real plants here are quite pricey.

I've done sugar scrubs for the showers for I've hosted in the past. They are useful & I received lots of positive comments that they loved them & requested the recipe. You can make them at a low cost. Pinterest has tons of recipes. I have put them in mason jars, as well as plastic containers (like the Ziplock ones with the blue lids).  I usually attach a little label or note that says "from Lucy's shower to yours - thank you for showering her & baby with love!"

Go to the dollar tree and by nice candles or body wash that works. Or do candy bags

If you're into essential oils, we did lotions with oils in them. I don't remember what my sister put in them but you can choose whatever you want :) just unscented lotion and whatever oils you want to use :)
