So we and my husband doest want anyone to know the gender until the baby shower. A lot of family members don't like that they can't buy items specific to the gender and want us to do a reveal then a "real" baby shower later on. The reason we want to do the reveal is so we can get more of the important stuff like diapers, wipes, etc. We have a lot going on  (trying to get a house, a new car, etc) so we want the focus to be on more essential things. And I don't want us to sound bratty or anything people's taste in clothes are different. I'd rather we spend the money on the clothes ourselves than get a random baby cow outfit that our aunts thought was adorable and our child would never wear😂. Don't get me wrong we would be happy to get anything I just don't want people wasting money on stuff we wouldn't use. Are we being ungrateful or does someone see we're I'm coming from?????
