25+3, +15lbs, belly measuring 27 weeks
I don't know how to feel about the weight gain. I know it's 'normal' (albeit high) range, but I just can't help thinking I have 15 more weeks left. I started overweight, and from what I've been reading my max pregnancy gain should be 25. My doctor isn't concerned and said we're both perfectly healthy and right on track.
I'm not at all devastated by this, and I feel fairly confident and sexy in my body, but still...
I can't even pretend like I've been eating super healthy or exercising. I haven't. To my credit (or rather detriment, but w/e) I didn't work out pre pregnancy either. Don't get me wrong, I don't eat junk food and i cut out soda and caffeine (personal reasons, I know you don't have to cut those out). I get in fruits and veggies during the day and a whey protein shake (not a meal substitute just protein), but somehow carbs sneak their way in ALL the time! I try to add in healthy foods instead of taking away bad carbs, in hopes that I won't want/ have room for bad carbs but somehow that hasn't been working very well - I just end up eating and apple PLUS the candy i was wanting to eat.
Well, I don't think there's a real point to this and I'm not necessarily seeking advice. Just needed to write this down I suppose.
