Back pain tips?

Any tips for back pain! I'm really feeling intense pain in my mid back, typically on one side or the other. Standing doesn't help, but I noticed it is somewhat releived when I walk around. Suggestions are appreciated!

Prenatal yoga and prenatal massages are how I have kept my back pain in check. Doing prenatal yoga will help you stay more limber and your back won't get as tight. You don't have to be super flexible to get a benefit from the practice. You can even just look up pregnancy yoga poses online or buy one of those home fitness videos for prenatal yoga. Any little bit of daily stretching will help considerably, also don't forget to stretch out your legs as tightness in your calves and hamstrings can lead to more tightness and pain in your lower back.

Massage! And pay close attention to your posture.  A support band or support tights really help me.  They're expensive but I love Preggers tights.  On Amazon with free shipping last time I bought some.

Nice warm bath! No gravity for a bit and the damp heat really helps (temporarily). And don't stay in one position for too long, either sitting or standing.

You can use a heating pad on low for 15 minute intervals. Make surethe heating pad is not touching your skin directly; put a towel or blanket between it and you. It has helped my back pain. 😊 You can also try a nice warm bath! i wish I could take a bath but my tub/shower doesnt have hand rails to pull myself up afterward. I would be stuck. Lol Good luck!

I've been having bad back pain too and started getting a massage every two weeks (check your insurance they may cover, mine just has a $30 copay) then I've been icing and heating with a rice pillow thing and that's been helping a lot. Heat 20 min then ice 20 min a little before bed. That has helped me. Hope it helps you.
