working mamas

Sarah
So I'm currently working at a job that is an hour commute and pays very low. I do get health insurance  nd the husband and I need it. So does baby! Next year it may cost me more in childcare than this job is worth. I'm a teacher and have been applying for new teaching jobs. This is my 6th year in. What happens if I get hired pregnant? What are the leave options usually? Anyone have experience in this? If it's not paid do they at least invite you back after a sub? Basically we would have a much better situation with insurance and better pay for child care than scraping without insurance and staying home with baby. We need two salaries. No judging please. Looking for professional opinions.
