This has happened to me for years before I got diagnosed with PCOS. I've struggled to lose weight m, anytime I gain it's mostly in my stomach. Just because someone isn't Hollywood thin doesn't mean they're pregnant. It's super irritating when complete strangers make comments about you being pregnant when A) you're not pregnant and B) you wish you could get pregnant, you've been trying for a few years but can't (yet).
