am I wrong to feel this way?

Question

For anyone working in sales with commission, would you be upset if your boss told your coworker that they could follow up on your sale just to hit quota? 
We have a new employee and I've been here for a year and have tons of people I work on everyday and people I'll get back to on certain months. I overheard them yesterday, he said he skipped the ones I worked on and she told him not to. She told him to go after the sale anyway. I will bring it up to her because anywhere else I've been, we all respect each other's sales. I mean, am I wrong for being a bit annoyed? That's my money on the table.

If they're already your clients and you follow up with them regularly, then they totally shouldn't do that. He didn't do the work to gain those clients so why should he get the credit for your hard work? 
That's the thing about commission based sales. It's competitive, but you also have to respect your other team members. There are boundaries. That's interesting that they would encourage someone to do that.
