fetal Doppler???

Question

So I bought a Doppler and I found the babies heartbeat super fast beat not the swishing sound of the placenta or my own heartbeat but it's very faint, could it be that my doppler just isn't picking it up well, or that the baby is further away from it? Facing away? Just curious if you guys have any advice!

How many weeks are you? The earlier I was trying the harder it was to find. Try your lower stomach and slowly go across. If you can't find it then give yourself 5 minutes and try again. Don't panic you will find it x

Sometimes mine is super faint or goes away. It's still pretty low and I'm pretty sure it moves around a lot. Other times it's super loud and clear. Depends how full my bladder is, what I've eaten, etc. Baby has lots of room to move around in there right now 🤗
