I've made a post previously about how my mom refused to throw me a shower because as y'all know I'm 17 years old. I still live with my mother, due June 7th, and my 18th birthday isn't until August 19th. She says she will not allow me to have a shower because she feels it's "glamorizing" teen pregnancy and she didn't get to have a baby shower when she was pregnant at 15. So now my grandmother called me today stating that she was going to throw me a shower. She called me asking me to make the invitations and send them out because "she's spent too much money on others people's kids for me to not have one". While she said this the phone was on speaker and my mother was right next to me. Her face turned SOUR, and she started to say things like: "I'm not helping with it at all", "I guess what I say doesn't matter", and "Even though I said no, u just going to do it anyway". She then proceeded to say she was going to call my grandma and curse her out.. I told her not to and she got defensive and said "Since someone else is giving u a shower after I said u WERENT having one, u want to defend her". After that it got quiet and I just kept to myself, she then got mad and claimed I had an attitude, and started to yell at me about it more. I told her to do what she wants and she said she will and she will put a stop to it. After we pulled up at home, I hurried and got out the car and she called my grandma and I'm not sure what was said after that. How would u feel? Am I wrong for feeling like getting the hell away from her asap? I'm SO annoyed and my day is ruined.
