Anyone with Epilepsy?

I had my perinatal appointment today because I am considered an extremely high risk pregnancy due to previous miscarriages and epilepsy. I had not taken medication for my epilepsy for nearly 2 years because I wasn't having them and my neurologist and I felt it was safe to wean me off. Fast forward to three weeks ago and I find myself having seizures again because I'm pregnant. I just saw her yesterday and was put back on medication and saw the perinatal doc today for a scan and consult. The baby looks perfectly healthy and very very active! They were having a hard time getting him into a position for one of the measurements so I had to take a walk around the office and do some jumping jacks! He was stubborn today! But the doctor now has me a bit anxious. He said there are studies that women who have seizure disorders, whether they take medication or not, are at a high risk of having a baby with heart defects. I just started back on medication yesterday and I am safely out of my first trimester. He said the medication won't hurt him. But he had to warn me about his heart. So I have another scan in 5 weeks where they'll do a very detailed view of anatomy and also do an echo on the baby's heart. Has anyone else ever had this done? Any one else here with epilepsy? This mamma needs a little calming right now please 😕
