Can you feel your cervix dilate?

Question

I'm 34w 4d and for the past day now I've been feeling these really sharp pains like something that's not ment to be is stuck up there, or this intense pinching along with slight lower back pain. I'm usually laying down but it doesn't matter what I'm doing the pain is the same. 
She's also been moving around a lot more than usual.
I don't think it labor lol because the pain isn't unbearable, I have no blood show, no fluid leakage and haven't lost my plug.
I thought it must be due to either her moving downward, her suddenly moving a lot more or just maybe you can feel dilation.
She's due May 29 - June 4

For those who are going to say it, I have a doctors appointment Monday morning so I'll be sure to mention it to her... Just curious for the time being

I was having a lot of sharp pains as well, lower back pain & inner thigh pain. Went to dr Monday & found out 1cm dilated & 50% effaced. That was 31w so it's possible that's what the pain is from!

I had these! And a ton of Braxton hicks for about the past week. when I went to the doctor yesterday (36w2d) I was 2 cm dilated!

Sounds like cervical contractions, just your body practicing for labor! A doula client of mine compared it to someone jabbing her cervix with a fork. Fun, huh? 😩

So it's possible I could feel dilation or it could be practice contractions 🙈🙈🙈
Either way I'm excited and willing to take on the pain, im hoping for a natural birth and that this appointment she'll tell me how great my chances are.
