It depends. In NYC? Sure!!! No one needs to drive. Where I live? No. we need to drive here

No. Because with kids you need more than one person who can drive in case of an emergency.

Personally if u wanna be with someone it really doesn't matter about cars finances or materialistic things. Me and my partner were both broke when we met neither could drive or ah e any qualifications. 6 years on I'm a qualified teacher with a son and daughter on the way and I learnt to drive. It's about supporting each other's decisions he doesn't want to learn to drive as there is really no need as I drive.

As long as you 2 are happy with each other and life decisions then why should anything materialistic matter :) xx

Mine has his license but has narcolepsy the doctor hasn't reported to dmv so he still has one. He never drives unless its absolutely a must so I guess it would be yes if for medical reason.  It is quite a burden to take on when you have to drive everywhere.

When I lived in Philly nope didn't care, but now that I live in Michigan yes a license is a must... I have been living out here since December and only seen 3 buses and the closet bus stop is an hour walk from my house

We lived in NYC and didn't have a need for a license. It wasn't until we moved out of state that we needed one so I think it really just depends

If I had my license yes. But I don't so my hubby has to lol. I have ptsd from being in a bad car accident and will never drive. I jump too much in a car to ever be a safe driver.
