Start Opk Testing ?!!?

When do I start opk testing if I have a 28 or 29 day cycle ?!?! I'm gonna buy them off Amazon for this month.. I dont wanna waste them either

This chart shows my temperatures from last cycle. My cycle was 39 days. My lutel phase was 16 days. I ovulated on CD 23. 
This chart shows my cycle from 2 cycles ago. My cycle was 41 days and my lutel phase is 16 days. I ovulated on CD 25. 
This is this cycle. I ovulated on either CD 17 or 19. (Fertile friend just changed my O day this morning) so now I will count 16 more days and that is when I should expect AF. So this cycle I should expect AF on CD 33 or 35.  If your cycles are regular you can count back from the expected day of AF to the date of ovulation. For me I have a 16 day lutel phase meaning if I count back from expected AF 16 days that's when I ovulate. So for you if you have a 28 day cycle count back 16 days and that is the earliest, normal date you could ovulate and that would be CD 12. If your lutel phase is normal but on the shorter side, 10 days, count back 10 days and that would be CD 18. Does that make sense?

I would start on Day 10. ovulation should be around day 14-16 depending on how long your lutel phase is (length of time from O-AF). A normal length lutel phase is 10-16 days. That would be between CD 12- CD 18 for you. If you start at CD 10 it isn't likely that you will miss your peak day.
