I apologize if this is in the wrong room, this is a very personal story and it's somewhat hard for me to share but I'm curious as to if others have had a similar experience. My dad passed away suddenly when I was 14, I am now 25. I have had several dreams about my dad in the years since his death, but only two in particular that didn't feel much like dreams- they felt more like visits. The most recent dream was when my dad walked through the door of an old bar he used to go to, one that my bf and I had also frequented just before it closed. He walked in and just hugged me tight for a long time. Everyone in the bar (close family or friends) cried because they knew he was gone but was somehow back. We hugged and cried for minutes without a word, and he walked back out of the bar. I woke up remembering the dream vividly which doesn't happen to me often, and just had a sense of comfort and happiness. Does anyone have a similar experience?
