I wouldn't marry anyone unless I lived with them for at least a year.

Even if we dated for 8 years without ever living together. Marriage wouldn't happen until we lived together because you truly don't know someone until you live with them. All of their quirks and annoyances are thrown in to your face and vise-versa.

Honestly my husband and I could have married at 6 weeks. We had no funny/cute/sweet story about our proposal or anything of the sort. I knew he was the one for me at that time we however didn't get married until 3 years. But we had been living together doing married couple things since 6 months. It varies by couple.

I married him less than one year after dating him. It didn't work out, turns out I didn't know him as well as I thought I did. And he didn't know me. We divorced after almost two years of marriage. 
I am ashamed of that. Because I really wanted to get married once! And I know that it was wrong but I just got to the point where I couldn't trust him, and I was unhappy. He wouldn't have sex with me, so I strayed and I pray that I'll be forgiven for that. It haunts me. But I couldn't lie to myself I wanted out.
