Really, Really, Really long periods
I have been recently and by recently about a year now having extremely long periods. I am currently on day 26 of a flow. Sometimes i will have a period for 5 days then break for a week and then period starts again. Its tiring just trying to keep up. Been to doctors a few times and ran a few test and also had a d&c done to see if anything out of the norm in uterus. Aside from racking up bills, I found out my prolactin levels were pretty high. Was taking bromocriptine for about 2 months and my levels dropped but still long periods. Doctor said I also had a fibroid but it's not in the uterine canal so it's not an issue. Aside from me wanting to start a family, having these long periods are annoying as hell. I am going to be 35 in the summer this year and I would like to have a child soon. Has anyone had this issue? What did you have to go through to get yourself back to norm too be able to get pregnant? HELP!!!!
