So long story short my mom moved to the UK for 2 years and she moved back and literally has nothing. She has been living with friends or in a hotel for the last 9 months. My fiance are moving into an apartment together in 2 weeks and my mom cant afford to live in a hotel anymore. So my fiance and i are thinking about letting her move in with us until she can get back on her feet. I am paying for the apartment down payment, and my mom isnt putting any money up. In the past she has tried turning things around so she has control. Like my last apartment she made me have my brother move in when he was in active addiction with heroin (he is in jail). I guess I am just scared that she will try to be on lease so she has the ability to tell me what to do and if my brother needs a place to stay after he gets out. I guess what im trying to get at is it wrong of me to only put myself and my fiance on lease and not let her be on it?
