baby monitor double brick 2 storey house

hi there, I'm a first time mum living in an old double brick house with the baby's room downstairs and living upstairs. Does anyone have a baby monitor recommended that had good range for a house like this and also comes with the breathing pads. Iv been recommended oricom babysence 2 plus monitor OR the angel care deluxe movement and monitor.
