vaginal pain and mid cycle bleeding

12 days away from my period and I start to feel burning down there and redness. ( not when I pee oddly enough) and spotting. I think not to much about it like maybe I ate something funning. Next day the burning lessens but the spoting is now spotting and clumps, next day more spotting and clumps... I'm on my forth day. And my doctor can't get me in till the 12th. Any ideas what it could be? Happen to any of you? I don't think it's sex related because it's been nearly a year since I've had it. Maybe lack of? Any help would be appreciated since my doctor is pretty busy until the 12th of may.
