cup for 1 year old...? ideas? what do you use?

My son is one year old and he can drink from a straw but if I give him a bottle or a regular cup for babies without a straw he wouldn't know how to hold it or drink from it. So I'm looking for a cup that has a straw and is spillproof and just one that's really good I guess...I give him smoothies too so maybe something that can handle water and milk and juice and also smoothies...? TIA!

These can go on any cup.. they have one you can buy with them as well. My sister has the sippy cup version of these and loves them. I mean I don't think t will be spill proof if you turned it upside down.. but I think they are a solid option for you. Company is called Boon. Bpa, pvc, and phthalate free.

They make sippy cups with straws now. Its spill proof but much better for their teeth than normal ones. :) they have them at Wal-Mart.

We use Nuby cups for our little. Has a straw and if put together right won't leak. All parts come apart to sanitize.
