Claritin while pregnant?

My doctor said it's okay to take Claritin while pregnant. I don't like the idea of taking any meds. Has anyone taken it while pregnant?

I take Zyrtec. If your doctor said it was ok, you are fine to take Claritin! They wouldn't advise anything unsafe!

I took it because I was desperate for relief. It did nothing though. I had more success turning on a hot shower and sitting in the bathroom with the steam to clear me up. Baby is still healthy and I'm at 33 weeks.

Yes I have taken it. Doctor says it okay. I feel the same about meds and try not to take anything but sometimes you have to.

I've been taking it for a long time. My primary and my gyn both say its safe during pregnancy

I've been taking it for the last couple months. I have really bad seasonal allergies and this is the only thing that is helping. My baby is perfectly okay and very healthy.
