10 days after labor ... ????

When is it okay to take a bath? 
Like a nice hot bubble bath just to relax.

I'm 10days post and still bleeding and been taking just showers since but I wanna take a Relaxing bath so bad ....

After all of mine I was told to wait the full 6 weeks before taking a bath because the risk of infection is so high.

I waited just long enough for my stitches to be gone but I would hold off on bubbles for. Little bit.

My Dr told me a bath was fine to take as soon as I wanted. I just wasn't allowed to use bubbles or anything in the water for Atleast 4 weeks as it could cause an infection.

My midwife told me to bathe for twenty minutes every day to help with heating. My first bath was 4 days postpartum. I did not use any type of bubbles or soap. Have you asked your care provider?
