Period after miscarriage??

I had a missed miscarriage just before 8wks and had to take the pill to cause the miscarriage. It's been 6 weeks and 3 days since my miscarriage and my levels are still not at zero and no period yet. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years and finally got pregnant from our first round of IVF. We want to try again ASAP. My question is for those of you who have had a miscarriage, how long did it take for your levels to get down to zero and for your period to start again? (Ps- I know I'm not pregnant again bc my levels are going down- just slowly). It's very hard on me because my sister is pregnant and we were only 26 days apart, hers was unplanned. I can't help but be a little jealous, however I am very happy for her.

I misscarried on 4/2 at almost 7 weeks. My levels were back to zero the following week, but I am still waiting on my period. Dr said it could take 7-10 days, which I'm already past that point. We have tried a few times already, however I'm not feeling any pregnancy symptoms yet and I'm too nervous/scared to test. I was always pretty regular before my pregnancy so I have a feeling my cycle might just be a little off. This waiting game is no fun.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've had 2 miscarriages before this one.  the 1st it was 4 wks after I stopped bleeding, the 2nd it was 2wks after I stopped bleeding. So far for this one I haven't had it yet and it stopped 7 days ago. I've heard it can be up to 3mnths later but in my experience it's not far off from your regular cycle.

When I had my miscarriage, I forgot to ask the doctor how long it would Take to get a period again. So I googled it and it said 7-8 weeks after the bleeding stops. And It was 7 weeks when I got mine. But you can always call your doctor with these questions if you're concerned.
