I have been prescribed two misoprostol pills to be inserted vaginally the night before my hysteroscopy procedure. My HSG exam showed an abnormality which could be a fibroid/polyp...but not sure.  I have only read people using this pill after miscarriage. The dr said this will help dilate my cervix in order to be able to see more clearly. Has anyone else had this prescribed? And how long did you wait to start TTC again after taking the medication?
