Plz don't be rude.. I am just trying to understand.

My baby is almost 6 months old and weighs 16.4 lbs and height is 26.5 inches. We have a car seat that says it can be used upto 30lbs or 30 inches of baby's height. Looks like she is going to outgrown tht very soon.. so what should I be using for her after that? A car seat or should I move to booster seat which says for babies 20lbs and up.

I am going to do my research on this but any information from you all will be really helpful!
