Dropped baby already?!

Just curious if any other mommas have a baby that has dropped already? I'm 31w4days and he is head down. Could that mean he'll be coming sooner than later?

Being head down at this point isn't an indicator of baby coming early. My little one has been head down since about 28-29 weeks. So uncomfortable isn't it!? Dr said it's good he's head down but doesn't mean much 😕

Head down and dropped are two separate things. Head down is literally babies position. Dropped down is when baby starts to engage. You'll know from your midwife apps whether baby is dropping as they mark on your notes how many 5ths babies head is engaged in the pelvis.
Or at least they do in the U.K.
My baby has been head down since 25 weeks but only started to drop/engage at 31 weeks and only by 2/5s.  This is my second pregnancy.

It's possible, but my dr told me not to worry about his position or try to change it until 35-36 weeks. My baby has gone head done but he moves and changes. Most of the time, like right now, he is transverse. He looves transverse. I'm aure he eventually won't fit that way and shift head down

I'm 31 today and my baby is head down and dropped so low into my pelvis my hips SCREAM when I walk. I also can feel her head rolling around down there whenever I place my hand at the top of my lady part (at my bikini line) when I had an ultrasound her head was literally tapping my cervix/bladder.

I feel mine dropped at 32 wks. Doesn't necessarily mean coming early.

I don't think so I was reading that around 30 weeks the baby gets in that position and stays there untill birth

My baby sits head down almost all the time at only 24 weeks. He apparently can move and not be, but just doesn't. However I don't think he's coming out.

At this point I thought your baby is suppose to be head down 🤔 if not isn't it considered breech

I will be 34 weeks on Friday. I'm not 100% if baby is head down, but my belly definitely looks lower then it did two days ago! I don't really knows what that means because this is my 5th and I've never had a baby before their due date.
