Name chosen before labor?

We can't decide on a name. I'm only 29 weeks, but wondering if people go into the hospital with a few name options and then after meeting baby, the decision is easier and a certain name just fits the baby

We sort of had a name picked out, but never really made a concrete decision on it. We got caught up with things and never really talked about it and then I went into labor, had the baby and they handed my husband the certificate to fill out and he looked at me like, "so.... Luke Harrison, right? Is that what we decided on?" It was kind of comical. But as soon as I heard the name and looked at this wrinkly little potato in my arms, I knew it was perfect.

This pregnancy... I'm 32 weeks and we haven't even had a name conversation. As in, we don't even have a list of maybes... I guess we need to have that conversation soon.......... maybe once this semester is over we can sit down and make a list of names. I'd like to at least have something before going into the hospital....

We had a girl name, and a boy name picked out before we found out. And the day baby was named was the day we found out the gender!! Our choices was 
Girl- emberlynn rein smoker
Boy- Barrett carter smoker
Then we found out it was a boy! So the moment the woman told us. I fell in love with little Barrett. I'm now 32 weeks 😁

That was going to be the plan for us. But then we ended up choosing a name that seemed like fate

We had a solid list of 4 full names for each gender before we ever had a child. We used two of the boys' names before we made changes to the next boy's name. Our third son's middle name was changed before we conceived him because we chose to name him after my husband's late uncle who passed after our second was born.

We name our children the day we find out the gender.

I'm crazy and HAVE to have names picked before we find out the gender. But I know quite a few people who have gone to the hospital with two or three names in mind and decided after birth. Not a big deal at all!

I'm 43 days away from having my little lady and I haven't decided on a name. Nor have I narrowed it down to a few. I feel like I need to see her to know for sure. Soooo... my plan is to have two or three names and decide after she's born. It's a lifelong gift and there's a lot to think about.  Or at least that's how I feel about it personally.

With my first son, we had a few picked out and waited until he was born. The first time we saw him he just looked like one of the names. With my second we didn't name him for over a month after he was born cause we still couldn't decide on anything. This time I'm 25 weeks and we have had a name picked since before we knew he was a boy.
