nexplenon birth control?!

I'm on nexplenon and haven't really had a period only like one month after I had my baby and my baby will be 6 months tomorrow. And no spotting either I'm getting worried. Even been thinking about taking a pregnancy test. Could i just be over thinking?! Ive also been breaking out a lot is that a commen thing? What are some side effects you guys have been experiencing?

I got mine in the biginning of February. I got my period about two weeks ago and still have it now but it is very light (as if it was the last day or two of a normal period). I also break out a bit more than normal and gets cramps and a little bloating. Side effects and whether or continue to get your period or if it stops all together varies person to person. You might be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get their period the whole three years or you might be in my group where our period is different from before we got the implant. Only time will tell. I was on it for 10 months and never had a period. I just took a test every month to make sure.

If you're breastfeeding that can also cause a delay. I have had the nextplanon twice. The first time, I constantly had a light period. After my son was born I decided to have it again. I'm 16mpp and still haven't had a period, but I'm also still breastfeeding. Even if you're not though, not having a period can be a possible side effect for some.

I've had it twice and the first time I had it for two years and I never got a period then this time I got a period the week after I got it
