Cant get pregnant. Possibly infertile??

My fiance and I have been trying to have a baby for 10 months now and we have sex every other day inside and outside my fertility window. But nothing seems to be working. I've tried eating foods that people say help pregnancy, neither one of us smoke, or drink, I put my butt in the air after he comes. (a friend of mine said to try the force of gravity) I've gone to a doctor and they said I'm to over weight and they won't help me until I lose weight. I'm 5'5 and 220 pounds. I don't think I'm over weight.... I just need help! Any have any advice?

If you want to get technical since you're wadding your panties up because we are suggesting you lose weight like your doctor said, you aren't just overweight. You're obese. Women who are overweight generally do have issues with fertility and have issues during the pregnancy. It would do your own body good and your baby good if you lose weight..like your doctor said

I was 5'4" and weighed 220 when I got pregnant with my son. It's still possible to get pregnant if your over weight. It voile play a factor though. Just cutting one thing like soda or sugar can help you lose weight. You aren't considered infertile till at least 12 months trying. Don't give up hope. Baby dust!

It's gonna sound weird but try without actually trying. Tell yourself you need a break from trying. I know that's probably not gonna be something you want to hear but it's all I can think of as actual advice. Just relax it can and will take time for it to happen but the more stress you put on yourselves to have a baby it becomes harder. Rather than trying to have a baby just don't think about putting a baby in the oven. Have all the sex you want without the thought of making a baby. Do it for "fun". Wooosaaahhh girl. I love that your ubber confident with your self. Maybe add some prenatals into your diet I hear that helps some as well. Best of luck to you and your fiancé!! Baby dust sent your way. 5'5 and 220 lbs is definitely overweight. I'm 5'7 and 200 lbs, and i'm overweight. I've heard that losing weight has helped people  conceive, but i'm not sure. I've also heard that most times, they won't refer you to any type of fertility specialist unless you've been trying to conceive for over a year, but I could be wrong about that as well. Just what i've heard, but good luck to you!

Well, technically, according to the BMI scale, that would be classified as overweight, which sometimes can affect pregnancy and, I suppose, getting pregnant. Being stressed out, I imagine, can make it harder too. I would just say to keep trying, maybe try not to stress as much and maybe try exercising some (exercise actually does help to relieve stress if you wanted to give it a shot)? I would just go with your doctor's recommendations on the weight thing, but definitely try not to stress too much over it. For some people, it can take years. Not everyone is so lucky to conceive on the first few tries 😕 just keep trying!

I ask about infertility and everyone focus's on my weight. Nothing else. Welp, thanks for the lift up girls. None of you told me something I didn't already know. I was looking for an expansion in knowledge. Not a recap of what some doctor said.
