My boyfriend and I say I love you 35 times a day like after phone calls or text and before we go to bed I was with my sister and she thought it was weird we said it so much like it loses it's meaning or somthing is that true?

If they don't have actions to back up their words "I love you" has no meaning but it can't lose its meaning from being said too much!

We say it all the time. We say it even if one of us is leaving the room for a few mins. We just always say it, and it hasn't lost its meaning. It never will. I've always believed that you have to make sure the people you love know it, or you'll regret not telling them should something happen.

It can lose meaning if it's said to break the silence.  That is what my ex and I did.  Just sitting there playing a game, in silence,  "love you"... "love you too, hey should we get pizza for dinner?"

My fiance and I say it a lot too but it has a different meaning.  I say I like him even more than I say I love him so it's  not just to fill the silence. Even make up songs.  The barney song "I love you,  you love me".. well I say "I like George,  I like George,  I like George and George likes me" (obviously his name is George lol)
To be honest I'm shocked he asked me to marry him lol I'm crazy.

Nope, my husband and I say it alit too and I love knowing he loves me so much the best is in the middle of the day when I get a simple I Love You text.

There's not a second that passes by that I don't tell him that I love him. I say it in every language I know. I always want him to feel loved. And it's mutual. When we wake up we say I love you. When he leaves to work, when we talk on the phone or text.

It could lose its meaning if said to too many people, like I love my Grocer, I love my stylist.  But if it is saved for those few precious people you do love, then i dont think it can be said often enough.
