Age difference?

Hey girls,
I decided to write my own post since I've been having some hard time with one question constantly on my mind.
I have a friend that I met in December and I really enjoy talking and spending my time with him ever since. I am not connected to anyone as much as I am to him and I think we are both falling for each other. 
The problem is that he is 14 years older than me, however, he looks younger than he actually is and I look older than I am (I am 19).

How to tell my parents about him, they know we were hanging out in the winter but they don't know we're still in touch and that we want something more.
Do you have experience or tips?

I would say not to bring it up until your sure that the both of you want to have a serious relationship, that was you avoid any unnecessary conflict/tension

They may be iffy about his motives dating someone so much younger than him but you can only just bf honest with them and if they're iffy ask them for a chance to get to know him! My boyfriend is 10 years older then me and was iffy about that to but my parents never said a word about his age. My mom loves him and my dad and SO both loooove to hunt so they have that in common and talk about that stuff. It was much better than I thought it would be! Just gotta tell them.. they were okay with you talking to him through the winter!

My husband is 15 years older than me. As long as you're over 18, age is just a number. When you connect with someone, you connect. Just make sure he doesn't try to change you. He already has an established sense of who he is, and you are just beginning down your road of self discovery. Don't let him impede that journey. If he can be supportive of your growth as your own person, I see no problem with this relationship.

I think it's best to just tell them honestly, but you also don't really have to tell them ever if it's not something you wish to share
