Three months ago, my SO and I packed everything into our little car and drove 16 hours, 1200 miles, to stay with his family halfway across the country. We are currently staying with his mom, who I adore.

SO works in a pharmacy and I stay home to care for his grandmother who has dementia.

I don't leave the house. A few days ago, we went grocery shopping and it was the highlight of my week because I got to get out. I can't leave the house because I can't leave Grandma. SO and I share a car, so even if I COULD leave, I still can't. Now, all that's fine and dandy. That's what I knew I was signing up for.

The part that erks me is that now my SO and I are planning a wedding. I guess I should say that I am planning our wedding. He doesn't seem interested. He works a lot, but even when he's home, he doesn't even acknowledge me. We don't spend time together. We don't do anything. We don't even talk anymore. His family doesn't spend time at home either, so its always just grandma and me.

I don't feel like his fiance anymore. I feel like the live-in nurse. I don't feel like a part of the family. I don't feel wanted here. I do everything around the house, cook, clean, shop, laundry, I mean EVERYTHING. And I'm okay with that, but I feel so unappreciated and unwelcome.

I'm lonely and tired and bored and sad. I don't think SO would ever cheat on me, but I'm starting to wonder if something is going on that he's not telling me about.

I will not marry someone if our relationship is dying. I am so madly in love with him, and I am so afraid that I'm losing him.

What do I do?

Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.
