Sexual partners

A lot of us are not proud of our "sexual partner number". But in a way I feel like, it's in my past and whoever I end up with will understand and accept my number. I'm 20 years of age. And my number is 16. I feel that is extreme and I am not proud of it. So I was wondering what the average number was and your age??
