Not getting pregnant

Is it possible to get positive ovulation tests and eggwhite fertile CM but not actually ovulate?

My husband and I have been TTC since January '16 with no luck. He got a sperm analysis back in February/March '16 and we got a good report back but again, no luck.

:/ When should I go in and get checked to see if I'm actually ovulating?
