Birthing partners?!

Question

I'm 21 and having my first baby the end of November. 
I have a twin sister and a mum which I'm not really that close to and she's not a positive energy to be around a lot. I'm close with my sister but she's so much in my business she thinks she's the one whose pregnant. 
Originally I've always said when I give birth it would just be me and my partner, eventually caved in and said my sister can come in with us. 
HOWEVER. I now really don't want her there. She's never had kids so she has no previous experience and quite frankly I don't like how she doesn't support me at the present moment. She tells me how tired she is of hearing how sick I am etc and has even had a few digs about my weight. 😑

Mum mentioned today she should come in with me, but in a million years I would never want her there. It's not happening. I really can't see me changing my mind on that.

Has anyone had experiences of just being with their partner while they were birthing? Especially when you're both first time parents. If anyone's got any advice or encouragement I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks 😊😊

Your twin sister might just have the connection with you that you need to really understand where you're hurting when she sees it. It seems like a lot of women on here birth with just their partners. My family is close and my mom has 5 kids so she is basically required at births ! I know I'm having my little sister in the room with me. I'm a very touchy person. So I know having more people in the room for me willl be helpful. At least in the beginning. You could always have them in the room in the beginning to test it out , and then have the nurses take them out if they are not being helpful ❤ good luck !

I am only going to have my boyfriend with me. We want to do it at a midwife center and won't let anyone come down to see him/her until we come home. They let you leave a lot sooner than hospitals. If something happens and I end up birthing at the hospital, I'll let people come to visit but only a limited amount of people as I want to enjoy my time with my new little family and not have baby being handed off every 10 minutes to new people.

I only want positive vibes with me so I figured I'll have my Bestfriend, my husband, my mom and his mom. My sister and I are on bad terms right now so I'm not sure if I want her there or not right now. Luckily I have til September I only wanted people in my room that has had children.
