Anyone else have problems with their newborns biting while they nurse? My girl is 7 weeks old and has been doing it for about 4 weeks now...usually everytime she is trying to pass gas but sometimes just randomly. I usually just slip her off by breaking the seal but sometimes she is clamped down so hard I can't even do that. Anyone know if this is normal? I had a friend tell me that she may be teething? Any ideas on how to stop this when she is so young? I read to flick the bottom of the foot and saying 'no' for older babies but would feel bad doing that to my newborn.
