low platelet question
So my dr has done 2 things of blood work and both time my platelets were low. Now she recommends that I see a hematologist. I think this is silly I am not having issue with bruising or bleeding. Also I know your platelets can drop while pregnant. I told her I felt fine and would rather not go. She did fight me on it, so I am thinking it isn't that bad.
Has anyone else been through this? I am self pay and I really cannot afford seeing a specialtist.
