Clomid?

I have irregular periods. Just started trying for baby #1...doctor said to ask her for "something to help" if nothing happens...how long should I wait to ask her for a prescription??

My dr gave me Clomid after 6 months because I'm over 30. Most Drs won't for a year if you are in your 20s. Clomid won't regulate your period though.

Does it help you get pregnant and does it cause you to have multiple pregnancies?

My doctor gave it to me only on third cycle. It helps you to ovulate.
